I fell in love with Derrick when he came to see me for his newborn session last year so I was really excited when his mom contacted me about doing his 1 year session.  We decided that Sweet Pete’s Candy would be the ideal spot.  I absolutely love shooting there.  The staff has always been so sweet to work with.  I know that there are likely other photographers who like to shoot there as well. If you plan on doing a session please be respectful.  I always call a week ahead to make sure they don’t have any classes or field trips planned.  I don’t bring any bulky props or lighting set ups. I also only shoot during the week as soon as they open so that I’m not in the way of any customers.  And be sure to buy something while you’re there.  I had another session there yesterday and came home with an amazing caramel and chocolate dipped animal.  There may or may not have been some of it left to share with my kids when they got home from school!
