Mommy and Me Photo Session

I had the pleasure of capturing this beautiful family’s Mommy and Me photo session in Nocatee. The forest clearing made a great natural setting for this radiant mom and her two kiddos. I love whenever I get the opportunity to shoot a session with a mom and her babies. So often moms are missing from family photos because they are the ones taking the photo. In this case, her husband was at work but that didn’t stop up from having a great time with this shoot! The bond between a mother and her children is so pure and strong that I really wanted to capture that feeling in these photos. She completely glowed with pride when she held her two children close to her.

This Mommy and Me photo session was quick and fun. The children really had plenty of room to move around and play in this beautiful and dreamy forest location. Everyone felt extremely at ease in front of the camera which translated beautifully in their photos. My absolute favorite photo is the closeup of the daughter smiling wide, showing off proudly her three missing teeth. I hope the Tooth Fairy brought her something good!

What I love about photo sessions like this is I know that this mother will look back on this moment, ten or fifteen years down the road, when her little babies are graduating from college and starting a new chapter in their lives. Before you can even blink your eyes, your children will be all grown up with family and children of their own! I love that I helped capture such a sweet moment that I know this mom will remember and cherish forever. I recommend these types of photo sessions to any family!
