I love how lifestyle sessions tell a story.  Fiona wasn’t the most content baby the day I was there and I’m sure that when I left Erica and John (aka Mom and Dad) looked at each other and wondered if I got much at all.  I know that Erica had an idea in her mind about a few shots that she had her heart set on and we just weren’t able to get those exactly the way she wanted because Fiona had different plans.  Fiona’s plan was to eat.  And eat.  And eat.  Eat she did, but I feel like we took the situation as it was and clearly documented the beauty and chaos that is called life at home with a newborn.  On a side not, big brother Killa, LOVED the camera. Lol!

I’ve absolutely loved working with this little family over the last month.  Both for this session and Fiona’s birth.  Erica and John are 2 of the most chill and go with the flow people I’ve met and hanging out photographing them has been so much fun.  Fiona is one lucky little girl.
