I try to provide as much information as possible on my website so that you can decide if I might be the right photographer for you. As you browse my website, you may have further questions which I am happy to answer. Just send me a message here.
If you have spent some time browsing and like what you see, then let’s chat! We will set up a free consultation to discuss your ideal photo session. You will have the opportunity to look through my collection of props, see sample photos and products, and look through my client closet. This is also when we will pick and schedule your session date.
This is where the fun starts! (But really, it ‘s all pretty fun) Once you arrive at your session, it’s time for you to relax and enjoy spending time making memories with your family. After all, we have already done all of the planning, so now you can just sit back and watch the magic happen.
After your images have been edited, we will meet again to pick out your favorites and also decide how you want them displayed. There are so many beautiful options to choose from, and I absolutely love watching the reactions that parents have when then see the final images. You will also make your selections at this time and place your order.
The day you pick up your products is always so exciting! Clients will come to the studio and we look through all of your items together to make sure you are more than happy with every piece you have received.
If you are ready to get started on your portrait experience, let’s chat!
Here in NE Fl there's a photographer to meet every budget and style. When choosing a photographer you want to make certain that the person you choose not only fits your budget, but also has a style that fits the vision you have for your session.
When photographing families I strive to capture natural interaction and candid moments. I don't do elaborate or unnatural posing. I want you to look like you and stand like you. I'll give tips to enhance what you naturally do, but I won't be pulling out a Pinterest check list of poses. (More on my thoughts about Pinterest in a minute : ) I like to spend the first part of the session getting the traditional "look at me and smile" poses, but after that I want everyone to relax and have fun. During your session I want you to be in the moment and enjoy your children. My favorite images from a gallery are almost always ones where noone is looking at the camera.
When photographing newborns in the studio I try to do a mix of traditional poses combined with more natural "baby led" posing. I prefer to stick with soft and minimalistic set ups.
I love neutral and pastel back drops, simple headbands, and soft wraps. I have knit bonnets and tiny pants/rompers, but more often than not I prefer simply baby. If parents have a prop that they'd like to incorporate into the session I'll do my best to use it, but I like to limit that to one per session.
Speaking of Pinterest....sure....I'd love to see your board. This is a great way for me to get to know you and to get an idea of what you want to get out of your session. Just keep in mind that I won't be directly copying setups or poses. I'm a little more of a go with the flow type of photographer. I've found that the more we try to script a session, the more stressful and less authentic it becomes.
Finally, a little more on budget. Like I said, there's a photographer for every budget here in NE Fl. To learn a little more about what goes into pricing photography take a look at this post.
