Sweet Caroline

Sweet Caroline (bum, bum, bum)! I just couldn’t resist singing this song when I met this sweet girl before the holidays. I am so excited to share with you photos from Caroline’s baby and family newborn session. We shot over the course of two days in Jacksonville Beach; one day in the studio and one day in her home. These combo shoots are a wonderful way to capture both the staged studio photos with the candid lifestyle photos in her home. I personally loved her light pink, flamingo inspired nursery and getting all of the sweetest shots of her with her adoring family members.

I love shooting a baby and family newborn session because it captures such a pure moment that I know parents will treasure and look back on for years to come. On both of the shoot days sweet Caroline was a complete angel in front of the camera. It’s like she even knew when she was supposed to smile. My favorite photo from this session is where she is smiling with her eyes closed. It looks like she is just having the sweetest little dream and I was there to capture it. Her older brother and sister were such professionals and very gentle with their little sister. The proud mom and dad were so happy to be surrounded by their beautiful, well-behaved children. I can honestly say that one of my favorite parts about being a photographer is working with such amazing families!

At the end of the day, we were all very happy with how stress-free this photoshoot turned out. Whenever there are multiple children together in one shoot, it can be a little difficult to capture and keep their attention. Luckily everyone had so much fun during the shoot and I think that it really showed with these photos.
