How I Take the Stress Out of Newborn Sessions
There might be nothing better in the world than a new baby. Every new parent knows what I’m talking about – the peace, the slumber, the exhaustion, the joy, the pure miraculousness of life. But with all of the beautiful moments as a new parent, documenting your new little one can be stressful. I want to make sure that new parents in the Jacksonville area know that there is another option for their families!
When Megan and Patrick asked me to meet their sweet new daughter, I invited them to come visit me at my in-home studio. It is the absolute secret to how I take the stress out of newborn sessions!
How I Take the Stress Out of Newborn Sessions
First, let’s talk about why lifestyle newborn sessions are amazing. We spend about an hour or so together, and it’s completely relaxed. We don’t do any poses with the baby, sitting in front of various backgrounds and using props like a traditional in studio session. Instead, it’s all very natural and simple! New parents are holding their new babies, and the focus is more on the family than just the baby itself. And we don’t have to stress about whether your babe is awake or sleeping, because we just go with the flow.
Now, let’s take this idea a step further to take the stress out of newborn sessions: in-home studio are my absolute favorite option for new parents. My studio is natural and timeless looking, with perfect natural light. New moms and dads don’t have to worry about making their home look “Pinterest worthy” or worry about having it cleaned for me to come over. Instead, I invite you into my space and it really helps takes the stress out of newborn sessions for parents.
On top of that, new moms and babes have access to my client closet! How’s that for making this process super easy?!
